Dubai-based LEVA Hotels & Resorts has entered into a management agreement with Prism Construction Company to operate the Emin Pasha Lake View Hotel Residences in Muyenga, Ugana. The hotel, which is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2020, features 56 rooms and offers views of Lake Victoria. The hotel boasts a range of facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, gym, spa, and restaurants. The hospitality industry in Uganda is experiencing strong growth, with increased tourism and investment driving the sector.

Emin Pasha Hotel, located in the upscale Nakasero suburb of Uganda’s capital Kampala, is set to re-open in September or October 2022 after undergoing extensive renovations. The refurbishment, which is estimated to have cost around $3.5 million, has seen the number of rooms increase from 17 to 40. The new rooms will be spacious and modern, with some featuring presidential suites. The hotel will also feature a modern spa with a Turkish massage parlor, gym, and swimming pool. Additionally, there will be state-of-the-art conference rooms and private guest boardrooms available for guests. The hotel’s owner, Kennedy Losuk Lokule, said that the sky will be the limit once the renovations are completed. He also revealed that the company is working on a second Emin Pasha Hotel in Muyenga, which is 85% complete and in need of at least $30 million in additional funding to reach the desired world-class standard. The Muyenga hotel will feature 115 rooms, most of which will overlook Lake Victoria. It will also have seven standalone apartments available for guests. The hotel will partner with Radisson Hotel Group to offer luxury hospitality and comfort.
